Level 1 is our carefully curated beginners’ section.
If you’re new to the guitar, here’s where your journey begins. If you’ve been playing for a while, but are new to the blues - or if you simply need a refresher course - you may want to start here too, as some of the terminology used in this section will be referred to later in the course.
If you consider yourself beyond beginner level, feel free to skip this level and move onto Level 2. You can always come back later if you encounter a term or concept that you may be unfamiliar with.
Welcome to Level 2!
If you started this course at Level 1, congratulations for making it this far. You’ve learned valuable skills such as string bending, vibrato, hammer-ons, pull-offs and other expressive techniques. You’re also able to play blues rhythm and lead guitar in several keys.
Level 2 is where the fun really begins, so grab your guitar and prepare to take your blues playing ever further!
Welcome to Level 3 and, once again, congratulations for making it here!
We’ve already covered so much ground and Level 3 is where it all comes together. There’s so much exciting material to get into: We’ll be exploring chord tones, guide tone and there’s a HUGE section on Slow Blues, which is practically a course within a course. We’ll also we looking at Stevie Ray Vaughan-inspired Texas Shuffle ideas.
